In Orbit is now up at Expanded Horizons!

In Oliver Twist, Fagin’s golems were powered by — of course — stolen pocket watches.

Sarah remembered her grandfather’s easy smile as she had complained to him about this grave injustice. He had given her a big hug that smelled, as it always did, of cigar smoke and clay and Grandfather, then said, “Would that were the most ignorant thing Mr Dickens had ever graced us with, my love.”

Hey! I found you and your story through Kaitlin, and it absolutely blew me away. What exquisite, amazing work! I've had an awful week, and reading your story today went a long way towards cheering me up. Thank you so much!

tricksterquinn: trees and a lamp post with a street sign labeled "Every Street". Makes me think of Dire Straits. (It's your face I'm looking for)

I was sent to this story some time ago by Kaitlin; I loooove it, have reread it several times, and have sent it to several friends. But, um... I was actually wondering if you would mind if I played with creating some art inspired by it? I'm pretty bad at completing things, but it's a very appealing project idea, if you don't object. I've never tried to illustrate anything before, and In Orbit has been a happy place for me since I read it nearly a year ago.
